In a video that Jamie Foxx posted on Instagram, he expressed his strong feelings about being hospitalized earlier this year.
In April 2023, the 55-year-old singer and actor was admitted to the hospital for an unspecified condition. His daughter Corinne noted that he had been dealing with certain medical issues but gave no more information.
In the video, Fox did not explain why he was hospitalized but expressed gratitude to his sister, Deidra Dixon, and his daughter for standing by him during the challenging times and supporting him in “bringing in great medical minds to save (his) life.” He said, “I went through something… things I believed I would never get over. I am aware that many of you waited and sought updates as well as my voice. However, I had to ensure my own well-being before I could offer you anything.
